The poem video we all watched in the class is familiar to us so that everyone may comment or take part in the discussion. Please, classmates!
Before I show the video to students, I would like to ask them some questions such as their feeling about the wind, attitude towards a poem, interesting in performance. When I have a simple impression about my students on the topic, I would play the video.
After their watching, I would like to analysis about the video with students interactively of different aspects such as impression, technique, contents, goals etc. so that to develop an active discussion among them. For example, I would let them know that one point in the poem that I have a different idea from the poet in order to make them curious and engaging. Meanwhile I would give them a clue focusing on the content then play the video again.
After watching, they will be asked about my possible different idea from the author and finally find out the answer or ask them opinions on 'the wind is a bad child' as it said in the video so that to inspire students to establish critical thinking. My idea of the wind is a naughty child instead of a bad one would be delivered to them at the right time. They may have their own ideas on this question and would be lead further to think more on the video. Therefore, it is possible for them to create e.g. to revise the poem and make a video of the revised one or their understanding.
